Steel Exit Sign

A steel exit sign is a great choice for institutional applications that will receive abuse such as is the case in schools, prisons, and other types of institutions. Greentorch steel exit signs use industrial-grade 20-gauge galvanized steel and are outfitted with energy efficient LED lamps. Long-lasting battery backup systems come standard and insure emergency operation when AC power is lost. The 20-gauge steel we use is 0.0396 inches thick. We dip our steel into a zinc bath heated to about 860º F. This process creates a water and corrosion proof surface that can be used in all environments.

The Greentorch GTDV5 and GTDV6 are 20-gauge galvanized steel exit signs with direct view LED lamps. Over 110 LEDs spell the word “EXIT” and create the most visible exit sign face type available, viewable from over 100 feet away. Direct view LED lamps are also the longest-lasting electrical exit signs available, with an average lifespan of more than 15 years. The GTDV5 and GTDV6 feature a 1/8-inch protective polycarbonate shield. Housing colors include white or black with choice of red or green LEDs. Self-diagnostic testing and 24v fire alarm interface options are available.

SLX Tritium Exit Sign The GTDV7 is a 20-gauge galvanized steel exit sign with diffused LED lamps. An internal LED light strip provides even illumination in colors of red or green. Additional options include visual alarm, audible alarm, and 24v fire alarm interface compatibility. Many more custom options are available.
