Fire Emergency Light

A fire emergency light can refer to multiple safety egress products. Emergency lights illuminate the exit pathway during emergencies such as fires or earthquakes. Exit signs use an internal light to illuminate the word exit and provide a visible marking system that guides occupants to the building exit. Powerful yet compact battery backup systems provide power to both electrical exit signs and emergency lights. Greentorch manufactures a full line of emergency lights, electrical exit signs, and non-electrical exit signs. Emergency lights are used along with exit signs to safely guide occupants to the outside of a building during an emergency. Our most popular Greentorch emergency light is the EL-1 series. The EL-1 features powerful incandescent lamps and a compact thermoplastic housing that installs easily on the wall or ceiling. The EL-1 is UL Listed and operates on both 120 and 277 voltage electricity. Available housing colors are black or white.

Greentorch manufactures both electrical and non-electrical exit signs. Electrical exit signs use energy efficient LED lamps to provide powerful illumination and are ideal for retrofit and new construction applications where electricity is easily accessible. The EXIT series is our most affordable LED exit sign and is constructed from flame-resistant thermoplastic. Housing color choices are white or black while letter color choices are red or green. The EXIT series comes with two faceplates and one backplate for single and double-sided applications. A mounting plate and all installation hardware is included.

If electricity is not easily accessible it makes sense to install non-electrical exit signs. Greentorch non-electrical exit signs are easy to install and save the cost of hiring an electrician to run conduit to installation locations.

Self-luminous exit signs use an internal chemical reaction to illuminate the word “EXIT”. Self-luminous exit signs can be installed both indoors and outdoors and are the most universally applicable exit sign available. Self-luminous exit signs have service lives of 10, 15, or 20 years depending on the model ordered.
