Exit sign lights refer to the light bulbs inside exit signs. Most exit signs use incandescent bulbs to provide illumination. Conventional incandescent exit signs use an average of 35 watts electricity and must be changed out 4 times a year. This results in significant energy and maintenance operating costs, with an annual average cost of $50 per exit sign. This cost can be reduced by 90% through installing exit sign light bulbs. Greentorch use an internal chemical reaction to produce powerful non-electrical exit sign illumination. Tritium, a type of hydrogen gas, is housed in borosilicate glass tubes and combined with a phosphor compound to create photons (light). These tamperproof glass tubes are arranged to spell the word “EXIT” and housed in a thermoplastic casing. are widely applicable, suitable for both outdoor and indoor installations.
