Greentorch emergency lighting fixtures feature a powerful yet compact battery that charges while the AC power is on. When AC power is lost, the battery turns on and the lamp heads become illuminated. To test the capability of the system, a standard push-to-test button with indicator is included. Simply press in the test button to temporarily shut off AC power and test the battery and lamp illumination. Greentorch manufactures a full line of remote emergency lamp heads. Remote heads allow for the placement of emergency lamps without the need for an additional fixture. Remote lamp heads utilize the battery power of an existing or new fixture and can be placed both indoors and out. If you are ordering a new light fixture and want to utilize emergency lamp heads, make sure to order your new unit with remote head capability. Remote head capability increases the size of the battery and allows for multiple lamp heads to be run from one fixture.
