Emergency Light Bar

An emergency light bar is an emergency light fixture in the shape of a bar. Emergency light bars use long lasting fluorescent lamps to provide reliable illumination in emergency situations. Using an emergency light bar is an efficient alternative to conventional emergency lighting fixtures that feature halogen or incandescent lamps. Since fluorescent lights require much less electricity than traditional lamps, a smaller battery can be used to provide the same amount illumination.Aloura Emergency Light

The Greentorch Aloura is our most popular emergency light bar fixture. Our “plug in” connection makes installation simple and maintenance easy. One, 24-watt fluorescent lamp provides illumination and will not need to be changed for more than 10 years, minimizing maintenance costs. The Aloura is offered in both AC only and battery backup models. The Aloura can be specified to connect to either 120 or 277-volt electricity. The Aloura is wet location approved and available with tamperproof hardware.

The Aloura utilizes an internal 6-volt sealed lead acid battery to provide illumination when AC power is lost. The battery constantly charges while the fixture is hard wired. The Aloura is UL Listed and the battery backup has been tested and certified to operate a minimum 90 minutes. The Aloura measures 15.5” by 3.75” by 5.875”.

The Aloura can be surface installed into the wall or ceiling. The Aloura is ideal for outdoor applications such as hospitals, apartments, and other commercial installations. The corrosion resistant, waterproof housing is constructed from durable polycarbonate. The polycarbonate housing can be purchased with either a translucent or clear prismatic lens. The tamperproof kit makes the Aloura vandal resistant. Stainless steel screws and a hex screw bit are included.
