Greentorch offers three types of electrically powered custom exit signs. The most popular are our custom Edge-Lit exit sign models. These signs feature an acrylic panel that can be screen printed with any graphic or wording of your choice. Edge-lit models can be surface or recessed mounted and housing color choices include white, black, and brushed aluminum. The housing can be custom colored to your specification.
Greentorch custom aluminum exit signs are surface mounted exit signs that can be outfitted with the wording or design of your choice. Housing colors include white, black and brushed aluminum. The internal light source can be configured to flash and/or connected to a light switch. These signs are popular for applications such as dark rooms and hospitals.
Custom direct view exit signs are popular for sign applications such as “open” and “closed”. Direct view signs spell out the custom wording with rows of individual LEDs. These LEDs are available in many different colors such as red, green, blue, and white. Direct view signs are the longest lasting signs available on the market with an average lifespan of more than 15 years.
Greentorch non-electrical are powered by a tritium light source. Borosilicate glass tubes contain tritium, a type of hydrogen gas, which when combined with a phosphor compound produce light. This light can last up to 20 years and requires no outside power source. Greentorch can help you design a custom legend with the wording and/or graphic of your choice. Tritium light tubes located behind this legend provide illumination. Tritium signs are the most universally applicable signage available. Tritium signs are suitable for wet location and applications.
