Battery Exit Light
A battery exit light can refer to the batteries used within safety egress products or to the entire product itself. Batteries are used within exit signs and to provide operational power when hard-wired electricity to the unit is lost during an emergency. These batteries and their components are known as systems. Greentorch carries a full line of and safety egress products with systems.

<[>Our most affordable exit sign, the EXIT series, is a thermoplastic exit sign with compact system. If you are replacing a battery in a basic exit sign it might make sense to purchase an entire new unit. The EXIT series uses red or green energy efficient lamps, operating at less than five watts, to provide bright and even exit face illumination. The EXIT series is great for retrofit or new construction installations and comes configured for single or double-sided applications. All of our exit signs come with a minimum five-year warranty against manufacturers defects.

The EL-1 is the affordable emergency light counterpart to the EXIT series. Constructed of the same durable thermoplastic, a system is used to provide a minimum 90 minutes of emergency illumination from two 5.4-watt incandescent lamps. Both the EXIT and EL-1 series are available in housing colors of black and white and can be ceiling or wall mounted.
